Tzeachten First Nation Recreation program is dedicated to creating a warm, safe environment where everyone can participate in a wide range of activities. We offer programs for all ages and interests, regardless of ability or background. Our activities are based at the Tzeachten Sports Field Complex, though individual classes or sports may be hosted at the Tzeachten Community Centre. We also schedule events at external sites, such as swimming and exercise at the Cheam Leisure Center, walking or hiking on local trails, and visits to the tennis court.
In addition to physical activities, the Recreation program promotes healthy living through access to workshops and information on a wide range of topics. We work closely with our community partners to bring exciting oportunities to the members of Tzeachten First Nation and the community at large. We are also involved with planning and execution of a number of annual community events, both on the reserve and off.
Our Programs and Facilities Manager, Skylar Gormley, and the Recreation Assistant, Andrew Muth, are very friendly and always available to answer any questions pertaining to our programs.
