The Tzeachten Land Management Advisory Committee (TLMAC) term is up, and we’d like to allow all Community members to apply for one of seven (7) seats for two (2) year terms.

TLMAC meets on a regular basis. All meetings are held once or twice each month from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM in person. TLMAC also has an all-day meeting twice each year, where they meet from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

If you are interested, we want to hear from you! Please write a letter outlining your interest and reasons why you would like to be on the committee, and what skills, experience, and knowledge you can bring to the committee.  

Please send the letter in an email to deanna@tzeachten.ca to apply, clearly noting in the subject line, Application: Tzeachten Land Management Advisory Committee.

If you have a spouse or family member who is not a member, but they would also like to have a will prepared, they can still do so, but they would be responsible for the cost.

Members must be available to attend an appointment in person. To request an appointment, please contact Ch’íyáqtel's Lands & Taxation team by email at lands@tzeachten.ca, or by phone at 604-858-3888.

As availability is limited, we will review and prioritize appointment requests accordingly. If we are unable to schedule you in for an appointment this time around, your appointment will be prioritized for the next session.

If you're interested, but can't attend during those selected days, we encourage you to contact the Lands department and have your name added to the list for future dates.

We sincerely appreciate the thoughtful feedback received and the time Members took to share their perspectives, priorities, and aspirations for this important site.

Over the coming weeks, the project team will carefully review everything we've heard. Your feedback, together with input from previous engagement activities, will help inform the next phase of planning and discussion.
